Why I created Bagazip
My name is Maxime, I am a videographer and photographer. My work has taken me travelling all over the world, camera on my back. After crossing landscapes that have nothing to do with one another - forests, oceans, mountains, deserts, volcanic lands - I wanted to keep all these worlds somewhere, and share them in another way than images.
That is Bagazip: the idea of simply translating all these worlds into a card game. Five universes, a little bag, rules that fit in two minutes. Nothing complicated, just a way to find a piece of travel on a table.
Bringing people together around a table
What I love most is what a card game sparks: people gathered around a table, sharing a good moment - whether they have known each other forever or just met. A deck of Bagazip cards comes out of the bag while camping, on a train or over drinks, and everyone is on board.
I also wanted to leave a small mark on this planet. So it may as well be something useful that brings a smile: a simple, nomadic game that brings people closer. If Bagazip makes a table laugh one evening, it has already done its job.
